Sebastian Anton Maria

Brummer

Is an outstanding singer (Jane Thorner Mengedoht) and performer, achieving successes across genres that make him an exceptional artist.

At Teatro alla Scala under Peter Stein's direction and Diego Fasoli's musical direction, he toured China as the 2nd Priest in Mozart's Magic Flute, Eisenstein in "Die Fledermaus" at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and a recital at the National Opera Center of America in Manhattan/NY. In addition to opera premieres such as "RATTENSTURM" with the Klagenfurt Ensemble, he also lent his voice to Roland de Roncevaux in the musical "Charlemagne" by Jakob Vinje at the Auditorium Stravinsky in Switzerland.

As a director, he gave a special "Hensel and Gretel" production by Humperdinck to the Konzerthaus in Klagenfurt. At the HOFSPIELHAUS in Munich, his self-written works "Vom Fliehen und vom Fliegen," "Ludwig II. and a version of "Momo" and the SELLAWIE Theater has also enjoyed constant success. Be it with the folk play "Der Bockerer", or "Oliver Twist", "The Three Musketeers", the musical "Tick, Tick, ... BOOM!" Etc. ...

With the ARTE film "Great" by Andreas Henn, Brummer flickered across the German television sets and also shot the SiFi thriller "Athanasia" and the feature films "Brüder" and "Melody" with director Nelson Berger.

With Sebastian Anton Maria Brummer, engagement with the audience is certain. The joy of art in itself. In every subject. He is an artist you will not be able to avoid if you are looking for that special, that resonating, that lingering feeling of friend and sorrow. Sebastian Anton Maria Brummer enriches!
