Humperdinck's "Hänsel & Gretel" was intensively acclaimed at the premiere on 21 June and at the pupil performance on 22 June 2018 at the Konzerthaus Klagenfurt. "In the evening, when I go to bed: Innig, with clear voices, the two young singers sing the touching evening prayer from" Hansel and Gretel ". A dreamlike moment in the Klagenfurt Concert House, where the opera studio of Konse will be hosting the fairy-tale opera by Humperdinck. "This is how Helmut Christian describes his follow-up report in the Kleine Zeitung. The singing students impressed the audience with high quality. Especially Mihail Strnisa convinced as father of Hänsel & Gretel with great word clarity and nice apt baritone. Even Irina Otto as authentic mother and Irina Vekszler as a dew and sandman attracted the audience with their pure voices in their spell. The crunchy witch Masa Simcic skillfully played her malicious and spiteful role. A perfect rounding off of the performance was achieved by the six-headed - excellently cast - choir. The audience - including many children - went on a fairytale journey and could truly be enchanted by the successful performance.
